Wow, what a gem of a cottage! the location was perfect - central yet peaceful, with beautiful walks right on the doorstep. the Red Lion pub nearby served up delicious food and the local shops were a joy to explore. The cottage itself was stunning, much bigger inside than expected, and so well-equipped. the thoughtful touch of milk and biscuits on arrival was much appreciated after a late flight into the UK.Although the weather didn't cooperate for us to enjoy the lovely garden, we still had a fantastic stay. the fireplace added a cozy touch and the free WiFi was a bonus for staying connected. Overall, a fantastic retreat for catching up with friends or simply unwinding in a beautiful setting. Can't wait to return and fully soak up all the charm Stanley Cottage has to offer.
